Pediatric Rehabilitation at The Hospitals of Providence
We offer highly specialized rehabilitative care for newborns to patients 18 years of age who have physical and/or developmental challenges due to illness, injury or congenital causes. Our therapists are specially trained in pediatric rehabilitation and can assess your child and build an individualized therapy plan to fit his or her needs.
Since our therapists rotate through our network of hospitals, they make contact with each child and family from the start of the relationship. This helps to create a seamless continuum of care as patients transition from a hospital to outpatient setting.
Children who require speech therapy, including those with communication-related, cognitive or swallowing disorders, are evaluated and treated by certified and licensed speech and language pathologists.
