Knee Surgery

Mako Technology
An Alternative to Traditional Knee Replacement Surgery

Mako Partial Knee

Mako Partial Knee is a treatment option for adults living with early–to mid-stage osteoarthritis (OA), which is a less invasive treatment option than traditional total knee replacement. The robotic-arm-assisted technology allows surgeons to selectively target and repair only the damaged portion of the knee, sparing healthy bone and ligaments surrounding it.

Mako Knee benefits may include:

  • Relief from knee pain caused by osteoarthritis
  • Rapid recovery
  • Minimal hospitalization
  • Smaller incision
  • Less scarring
  • Bone sparing
  • Improved surgical outcomes
  • Less implant wear and loosening
