Oscar Salas serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the East Campus. Oscar joined The Hospitals of Providence in 2009 serving in multiple leadership roles across the network. Since joining East Campus in 2017, Oscar has served as the Assistant Chief Nursing and most recently as the interim Chief Operating Officer. Under Oscar’s leadership he has successfully led several capital improvement projects to include the completion of the third-floor expansion and the OR upgrade and was integral in successfully launching the pursuit of Trauma Level II.

Oscar is a native El Pasoan and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso and will complete his Master of Science in Nursing Leadership/Management from Western Governors University in the Fall of 2023.
