Linda Lawson, DNP, RN, NEA-BC serves as the Market Chief Nursing Officer for The Hospitals of Providence and Chief Nursing Office at the Transmountain Campus. She transitioned into this role after previously serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at the Transmountain Campus.

Linda brings over thirty years of operational and nursing experience. In those years of experience, Linda has served in various administrative positions including, Chief Nursing Officer, Administrative Director of Nursing Operations, Cardiovascular Services and Clinical Quality Outcomes.

Additionally, Linda is an Executive Nurse Fellow with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is an Examiner/Team Leader with the Quality Texas Foundation, a Pathway to Excellence Appraiser and a Magnet Appraiser. Linda has a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC), a Master of Science in Critical Care from University of Massachusetts, and also a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso.
