Griselda Gomez
Chief Nursing Officer, The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus
Griselda Gomez serves as the Chief Nursing Officer for The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus.
She joined The Hospitals of Providence in 2015 and most recently served as the Director of Nursing for Cardiovascular Services and Neuro Interventional Radiology Services for the Sierra Campus. She has been instrumental in building El Paso’s first multi-faceted structural heart program, bringing new heart procedures to the region allowing patients to receive needed heart care close to home. She also successfully led the Sierra Campus to achieving the HeartCARE Center of Excellence Designation, 1 of only 42 hospitals in the nation to achieve this recognition – highlighting the continued focus on quality and patient outcomes.
Griselda holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University, a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and recently completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Baylor University. She is a native El Pasoan and an active member of the American Nurses Association.
